Silverbell

This small tree grows up to 3 meters (9.8 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 435 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a knobbly, slanted trunk covered in silky, silver and white bark, and inside, the soft wood is yellow-brown.

The sparse amount of branches trail down across the ground and are covered with small amounts of sticky, huge, sickle shaped leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are solid brown or green, with hazel lines.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, white, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with patches of undergrowth between them.
