Violet Creeper

This large creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 112 feet (34.1 meters) and growing as high as 36 feet (11.0 meters).

It takes 6 months for the lime green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 1.4 feet (43 cm) and are rough and woody.

The perforated, fuzzy leaves reach up to 2.2 feet (66 cm) in length. They are violet and lime, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces large amounts of small azure flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of large fruits.
