Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In marshes.
It is large, growing up to 9 inches (23 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is extremely tough.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release millions of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
