Orange Vinebud
Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This average-sized flower grows up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. Its orange stems grow in bunches of 8 and are thin with a curved tip, and the tiny, brown leaves are brown on the underside and are very thin with jagged edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.
Many large flowers grow in drooping bunches like grapes. The flowers are 4 cm (1.6 inches) wide, with sky blue petals that gradient shift to dark brown on the outer edge. The central disk is bronze. The flower head is shaped like a sphere with 48 tightly layered, narrow petals. They detach easily.
It has a mildly strong scent that smells like something putrid, and it has lots of pollen. It is a self-pollinator, but is also particularly attractive to butterflies.
The bark is frequently covered in moss.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
