Copperbell

This modest-sized caudiciform grows up to 48 feet (14.6 meters) tall. The spear shaped stem is copper, and is covered in dozens of flexible grey spines. The thick, white trunk can grow to as much as 48 feet (14.6 meters) in diameter. Its cream and lime green branches are long and thin.

The serrated-edged, very thick leaves are generally cream. They are flimsy, but are very difficult to pull away.

It is quick growing, taking 6 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with solid azure petals and an amber central disk, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 60 petals. It has an overpowering scent that smells like paint.

The caudiciform's skin is thick, the pink flesh is leathery, and the cyan sap is thin.
