Coniferous Clingerfruit

Fruit Tree type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This large fruit tree grows up to 39 feet (11.9 meters) tall and lives for up to 20 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 59 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a flexible, straight trunk covered in fine, ridged, dark gray bark, and inside, the hard wood is burgundy.

The small handful of branches are short and thin and are covered with thick bunches of tiny, stiff, pointed leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are emerald with amber tips.

In early spring, it produces balls of small, purple blossoms with slender, pointed petals. They fall easily and have a powerful scent that smells like mango.

In early autumn it produces , finger-like fruit. The smooth caramel skin is thick and inedible, and the very soft green flesh is bitter and very juicy. The lime seed is tiny and sits at the end of the fruit.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.

The sap is edible and very sour.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
Offering it in a bouquet is supposed to bring good luck.
It has impressive regenerative properties.
