Goldenvine

This short bine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 23 feet (7.0 meters) and growing as high as 18 feet (5.5 meters).

It takes 2 months for the orange-yellow stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and fibrous.

The circular, fuzzy leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are gold and green, and have ripped edges.

During late spring, the bine produces hundreds of large gold flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces a modest amount of small fruits.
