Emerald

This lime green or caramel moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In marshes, In moorlands, and In heathlands.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they spread and grow quickly, and is overwhelmingly rigid.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release hundred of spores.
