Pine-colored Tree

This small tree grows up to 5 meters (16.4 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 443 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a branched, crooked trunk covered in thin, waxy, pine-coloured bark, and inside, the dense wood is brown.

The branches trail down to the ground and are covered with large amounts of smooth, small, slender, pointed leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are found in cream, blue and hazel varieties.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, faded green, shelled seeds.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with clear space between them.
