Silvergrass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its leaves)This average-sized, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The sickle shaped stalks grow in large clumps that are resilient and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, silver tail.
During the early autumn, it produces an average amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of medium-sized grains.
It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
