This small vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 7 feet (2.1 meters) and growing as high as 443 feet (135.0 meters).

It takes 2 months for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and fibrous.

The asymmetrical, crispy leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are moss green with cyan tips, and have smooth edges.
