Clinging Spikegrass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This large, orange grass grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in extensive patches that are sturdy and flexible and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, purple spikelet.

During the late autumn, it produces excessive amounts of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of tiny grains.
