Emerald V-Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found growing in large clumps On rotten logs, In rainy mountain ranges, and In marshes.
It is enormous, growing up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is extremely hardy; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald V-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release thousands of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
