Orange Tuftgrass

This small, orange grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in sparse patches that are durable.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, pink tuft.

During the early winter, it produces very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of medium-sized grains.
