Goldenleaf

Shrub type: Deciduous (Stores water in its leaves)

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 42 years. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has numerous flexible, straight stems covered in very thick, silky, yellow-brown bark, and the wood inside is yellow.

The branches are short, rigid and upright with dozens of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of miniature, wispy, leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are found in light yellow and azure varieties, rigid and fuzzy.

It produces a handful of giant, brilliant orange flowers with many layers of petals with a tube-like floral cup. They are sturdy and have a weak scent that smells like cotton. In late winter it forms medium-sizedbronze, spiky-shelled seeds.


It is suitable for making paper
It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
every part of the moss is very toxic.
The sap is gold.
