Sunshine Moss

This yellow moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In rainy mountain ranges, On rotten logs, and In rainforests.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is slightly delicate; it struggles more than most during dry spells.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release hundred of spores.
