Silver Petal

Flower type: Annual (Stores water in its stem)

This small flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its orange stems grow in bunches of 4 and are very thick and straight, and the small, gray-green leaves are light silver on the underside and are sickle shaped with ripped edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

A single medium-sized flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 18 cm (7.1 inches) wide, with petals that are silver on the edges and olive at the center. The flower head is largely flat with 23 widely spaced round-tipped petals. They are sturdy.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like rainy days, and it has lots of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by a small species of bird.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
