Magenta

This big cactus grows up to 89 feet (27.1 meters) tall. It splits randomly along the body to form 6 thick stems. Each stem is olive and orange-yellow, and is covered in many fine, hazel, hair-like spines. The mushroom-shaped body is gray-green, and is covered in thousands of flexible sky blue spines.

It is very fast growing, taking 8 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with solid magenta petals decorated with yellow dots and a olive central disk grow at the top, reappearing after 9 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a star made up of 14 raised, narrow petals. It has a mildly strong scent that smells like grass cuttings.

The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the drab purple flesh is soft, and the blue sap is thin.
