Olive Fireflower

This big flower grows up to 6.1 feet (1.9 meters) tall. Its dark brown and yellow stem is thin, and the small, emerald leaves are thick with rounded edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

A single small flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 35 cm (13.8 inches) wide, with petals that are silver on the edges and olive at the center. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals in raised layers. They are hardy.

It has a delicate scent that smells like burning wood, and it has lots of pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by a small species of bird.
