Coppergrass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This large, copper grass grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in extensive patches that are resistant.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, gold spikelet.
During the early summer, it produces a modest amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of giant grains.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
