Emerald

This gray-green moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps On trees, and In marshes.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is slightly light.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release thousands of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
