Copperbell

This short creeper is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 9 feet (2.7 meters) and growing as high as 130 feet (39.6 meters).

It takes 5 months for the red stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are smooth and woody.

The spear shaped, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are solid light brown or pink, with copper splotches, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces a handful of giant turquoise flowers.
