Lilac Grass

Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This giant, lime green grass grows up to 33 feet (10.1 meters) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in large clumps that are flimsy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, lilac spikelet.

During the early autumn, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of large grains.

The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
It comes in 95 varieties.
