Bluetuft Grass

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its stem)

This modest-sized, red grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in small clumps that are prone to bending and snapping under stress.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, brilliant blue tuft.

During the mid-summer, it produces an average amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of medium-sized grains.

The bark, wood and leaves are edible.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
Ivy often grows along the trunk.
