Oceanbreeze Bluevine

This modest-sized shrub grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall and lives for around 60 years. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has several flexible, straight stems covered in wrinkled, black bark, and the wood inside is pine-coloured.

The branches are short stubs with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with thick bunches of large, very narrow and elongated, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are either sky blue or purple, with cream zig-zags, strong and tough and smooth.

In early summer it produces several small, bronze flowers with 9 pointed petals. They are sturdy and have an overpowering scent that smells like an ocean breeze.
