Emerald Grass

This enormous, emerald grass grows up to 14 feet (4.3 meters) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in sparse patches that are resilient and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, black tuft.

During the early summer, it produces very little pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of tiny grains.
