Violet Rose Succulent

This large leaf succulent grows up to 86 feet (26.2 meters) tall. The fan-like stem is yellow-green, and is covered in sharp spines. The toothed-edged, wide leaves are generally violet. Large amounts of them grow from the base in tight-packed layers. The leaves are strong, and do not detach easily.

It is slow growing, taking 43 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with solid olive petals decorated with yellow dots and a beige central disk grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is largely flat with many tightly layered narrow petals. It has an overpowering scent that smells like roses.

The leaf succulent's skin is thick, the cyan flesh is smooth, and the amber sap is thin.
