Twistvine

This big shrub grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall and lives for around 70 years. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many long and flexible, twisting stems covered in hard, smooth, yellow bark, and the wood inside is silver.

The branches are very long and thick with thousands of twigs that and are covered with sparse amounts of large, sickle shaped, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are solid intense purple or copper, with cream zig-zags, robust and smooth.

It produces handfuls of small, lime flowers with asymmetrical petals. They fall easily and have a strong scent that smells like honeysuckle. In late spring it forms tinydeep yellow, tough-shelled seeds.
