Greyvine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short bine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 18 feet (5.5 meters) and growing as high as 120 feet (36.6 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 9 months for the grey and lime stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and woody.

The oval-shaped, fuzzy leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are found in green and florescent green varieties, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the bine produces a handful of small pink flowers.
