Silverbell

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This modest-sized shrub grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall and lives for around 17 years. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of long and flexible, straight stems covered in paper-thin, rough, silver and white bark, and the wood inside is black with white speckles.

The branches trail down towards the ground with dozens of twigs that and are covered with copious amounts of tiny, wide, leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are lime on the edges and drab blue at the center, resilient and rough.

In early spring it produces balls of giant, bronze flowers with circular petals. They detach easily and have a fairly strong scent that smells like baby powder.

It coexists peacefully with other plants.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
All of it is said to be part of one single, massive plant.
