Purple Creeper
Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This short creeper is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 21 feet (6.4 meters) and growing as high as 175 feet (53.3 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.
It takes 2 months for the moss green stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and fibrous.
The asymmetrical, soft leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are bronze at the bottom and lime with slate patches at the top, and have smooth edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces a handful of colossal brilliant purple flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of large berries.
It comes in 19 varieties, each with a different petal colour.
It is suitable for making strong rope
It can flourish even in standing water.
