Peachleaf Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This massive leaf succulent grows up to 149 feet (45.4 meters) tall. The tapering stem is caramel, and is covered in dozens of fine, hazel, hair-like spines. The knobbly leaves are lime and peach. Small bunches of them grow on very thick, yellow-green branches that are tall, rigid and upright. The leaves are robust, but easily come away when pulled.

It is quick growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with petals that are generally blue; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour grows at the top, reappearing after 6 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a dish with 57 raised, round-tipped petals. It has a strong scent that smells like baby powder.

The leaf succulent's skin is nearly impenetrable, the amber flesh is soft, and the cream sap is thin.

It is suitable for use as a construction material
