Pine-colored Silk Tree
Tree type: Coniferous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This short tree grows up to 5 meters (16.4 feet) tall and lives seemingly forever, with many known specimen being tens of thousands of years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a very thick, crooked trunk covered in silky, pine-coloured bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is brown.
The branches are very short and thin, covered with small bunches of large, orange-yellow needles. The needles themselves are tough.
In late summer it produces large, caramel seed pods.
The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with clear space between them.
It is very delicate and is easy to kill.
