Crimsonbell

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 68 years. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several slender, wavy stems covered in thick, ridged, brown-green bark, and the wood inside is pale brown-grey.

The branches trail down to the ground that and are covered with handfuls of large, 6 pointed, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are a shade of gray-green that gradient shifts to crimson at the top, frail and crispy.

It produces a handful of giant, red flowers with long, tapering petals. They are very delicate and have a delicate scent that smells like soap. In mid-summer it forms tinygreen, tough-shelled seeds.
