Crimson Silverleaf

This large tree grows up to 65 meters (213.3 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 321 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a slender, angular trunk covered in very thick, wrinkled, brown bark, and inside, the hard wood is yellow-brown.

The small bunches of branches are long and thin and are covered with large amounts of crispy, small, very thin leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are either blood red, or magenta with silver streaks.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, green, tough-shelled seeds.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with patches of undergrowth between them.
