Lilacgrass

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its leaves)

This average-sized, black or lilac grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in extensive patches that are robust and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, dark brown spikelet.

During the early summer, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of tiny grains.

It can survive a long time without water.
It can grow in even the most barren lands.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
