Indigo Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its leaves)

This average-sized, green grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The thick stalks grow in small clumps that are sturdy and flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, indigo flower.

During the mid-summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few small grains.

It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
