Silverleaf Grass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its leaves)This big, silver grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The wispy stalks grow in thin clumps that are sturdy and flexible.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, beige tuft.
During the late summer, it produces an average amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.
It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
