Redgrass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its leaves)This big, red grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The thick stalks grow in extensive patches that are resilient and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, sky blue flower.
During the mid-autumn, it produces excessive amounts of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of tiny grains.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It is excellent at collecting and storing carbon dioxide
