Emerald
Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its emerald stem is very thin, and the giant, yellow leaves are perforated with tattered edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.
Two tiny flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with solid intense purple petals decorated with blue dots and a gold central disk. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cube. They are sturdy.
It has a fairly strong scent that smells like misty mornings, and it has a fair amount of pollen. It is a self-pollinator, but is also particularly attractive to butterflies.
It is excellent at collecting and storing carbon dioxide
It only grows on the most fertile lands.
It blooms only at night.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
