Silvergrass
Grass type: Annual (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This average-sized, gray-green grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in small clumps that are resilient and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, silver puff.
During the late summer, it produces a modest amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of tiny grains.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It has impressive regenerative properties.
The trunk and branches are covered in large spikes.
