Lilacgrass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This modest-sized, moss green grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The asymmetrical stalks grow in extensive patches that are strong.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, lilac flower.
During the late autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of tiny grains.
