Yellow-green Moss

This yellow-green moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In bogs, and In marshes.
It is large, growing up to 9 inches (23 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is very flexible; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores.
