Peachleaf Tree

Tree type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This average-sized tree grows up to 29 meters (95.1 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 198 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has a knobbly, angular trunk covered in paper-thin, cracked, dark green bark, and inside, the very light wood is yellow-brown.

The small handful of branches are tall, rigid and upright and are covered with small bunches of clammy, small, long, tapering leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are generally peach.

In late summer it forms tiny, caramel, winged seeds that float and land far away.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.

The bark is frequently covered in moss.
It commonly grows in large patches.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
