Gray-green Moss

This gray-green moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In bogs, and In marshes.
It is huge, growing up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and can overwhelm an area rapidly, and is slightly tough; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release dozens of spores.
