Orangegrass

This short, gray-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in large clumps that are resilient and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, vivid orange tuft.

During the mid-summer, it produces an average amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.
