Caramel Spiral Moss

This caramel moss is commonly found growing in large clumps On trees.
It is colossal, growing up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is very rigid.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release millions of spores.
