Yellowgrass

This average-sized, green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wispy stalks grow in thin clumps that are rigid and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, yellow spikelet.

During the late summer, it produces a modest amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of large grains.
