Graystem Succulent

This modest-sized cactus grows up to 34 feet (10.4 meters) tall. It splits at the base to form 4 perforated stems. Each stem is gray, and is covered in dozens of rigid gentle yellow spines.

It is very fast growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with solid intense green petals decorated with grey dots and a caramel central disk grows at the top, reappearing after 9 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 54 petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like rotten eggs.

The cactus's skin is thin, the gold flesh is rough, and the silver sap is thin and causes upset stomachs if consumed.
