Yellow Moss

This yellow moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps On trees, In marshes, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is average-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is overwhelmingly resistant; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release hundred of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
